I found the following on the internet. I do not have a Speer Manual #13. Could this be a typing error? The speed looks spooky slow. What type of pressure would it generate? .340 Weatherby Magnum - 200 grain Speer SP bullet, 33.0 grains of SR 4759 powder, CCI 250 primer, Wby. case. COL 3.560". MV 1970 fps in 26" barrel. (Based on the Speer Reloading Manual No. 13.)

Welcome to AR. This is from Speer Number 12, for the 340 Weatherby Mag. 200 grain bullet: Starting load 29 grains of SR4759, velocity 1737fps. MAX load 33 grains of SR4759, velocity 1970 fps. For a little more velocity, but still a "reduced" load, from the Lyman 45th Edition: 200 grain bullet [they used the Speer] Starting load IMR 4064 65 grains velocity, 2564 fps. [About like a 350 Rem mag or a 35 Whelen] Max load IMR 4064 72 grains, velocity 2890 fps. Hope this helps. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY
