Ladies and Gentlemen,

I thought some of you might be interested in a test we are running on the 22 rim fire.

We have decided to see how different rifles and different ammmo shoot at 50, 75 and 100 yards.

The test will be updated daily, and the results can be seen on the link below.

We have over 40 different types of ammo, and they will be shot in around 10-12 different rifles. Ranging from match grade guns to standard hunting rifles.

I can relate to the time consumption something like that requires... However, it is something great to share with fellow shooters...

I'll be watching too. My son and I go out and shoot my Ruger MKIII SS Bull barrel about every weekend. We usually blowoff 1000 rounds. I have been mixing it up a little and trying some different brands but not keeping any data. Mostly just making a mental note of what I feel is doing best for my gun

Sounds like a great test! It would be nice to see the results on the main AR page, so it doesn't get burried in the archives in the future.

Do you plan to clean between different types of ammo, and then shoot a few groups for the guns to foul / acclimate to the new ammo?
