I have a few .223 IMI cases, all I can tell you is that they have the smallest case capacity of all the cases I own. Even smaller than any of my military head stamps. Watch out for pressure!

hunting,

I haven't 223 cases but I have IMI cases in others calibers. I can tell you that they are great (strong, durable,...). If your IMI cases are factory rounds thay are very accurate.I don't hesitate to use it for plinkin.IMHO

Absolutely excellent brass, I use it for my 6x45 also...the necks are freshly annealed under specs and it reforms wonderfully...

So what if its thick, requires less powder to get like velocity....and it last forever at pretty maxed out loads for me...
