If you had not seen it, Hodgdon is discontinuing the following powders: 4756, 4759, 7625, PB, Pyrodex Pellets, IMR 4007, Winchester 780, and Winchester AA Lite. This was announce about the first of the year. This may be why you are having trouble locating some.

Anyone have an accurate load in .38 Special, .44 Special, or .357 Magnum using 4756?

30 Miles from Seattle, 24 miles from Tacoma and about 12 miles from Mt Rainier.

I know it's discontinued but was hoping someone was sitting on some and didn't need/want it anymore.

Thanks anyway, Joe

This isn't going to help your problem but going way back in the day, I went into a local gun shop and asked if he had a large can of SR 4756 and he said how large? He went down in the basement and came up with a 25# can for $73.00.
I use it in 20 and 28ga loads and love it.

With SR-4759 being discontinued; I am glad I bought up several cans now. Use this powder in developing light loads, in a few calibers I own.

You might want to go to plan B, I just called Midway and two other vendors and all are out of stock.
