Hi all, I’m searching for loads for the 8x75RS with readily available powders outside of Europe.
Thus far the only load I’ve seen listed for something other than Norma or Rottweil powder is 73g of R22 over a 220g SGK.
I’m working on the assumption that if it likes R22 then H1000 aka AR2217 should be an option with either 200 or 220g bullets.
Thanks in advance

You are a reloader, so get experimenting!

That is what we all do.

You can use ANY powder for ANY cartridge.

The secret is how much to use.

My powder equivalent chart shows R22 to be slightly faster than H1000, so a load of 73gr H1000 should be fine for a start. Of course it is not known if the 73gr load of R22 is low, medium or getting towards maximum with the 220gr SGK bullet but again the same charge of H1000 would be good to go.

Could also try H4831 (AR2213) powder which is a little faster than R22 dropping the charge to 70gr or so. This is a good powder in larger small bore cases.

Most powders are made in just a very few
plants. ADI in Oz.
