im thinking to load som 140g xlc in 7mm stw are they good bullet can i swift from uncoated to coated without any 20 shot befor any accary.hov far from the land must i go

Personally,I could not get the XLC's to group anywhere near as good as I could the regular X bullets in my 7mm.Barnes recommends that you seat them at least .050" from the lands.

My Sako 6.5X55 loves the XLCs, either 120 or 140 grains. In defiance of Barnes' directions, my gun likes them just off the lands for best accuracy.
