The brass I am currently using I found out is Remington. I am not impressed with it at all. My next batch will be the Winchester batch and I will hope for the best. The rem brass seamed to have some real inconsistancies and damage to the necks from the start.

I like the Winchester nickle as it makes my reload with a 140 gr Nosler Ballistic Silvertip look deadly.

My experience with both Winchester and Remington 7 STW brass is that it will vary from batch to batch. In other words, I've found hard and soft brass at different times from both companies. The softest 7 STW brass I've used however, is A-square's. Way softer then either of the two mainstream manufacturers. FWIW - Dan
