I believe they are now being made by some outfit down in Florida. WEhether the plant is still part of Olin as a subsidiary or if Olin sold it outright, I don't know.

The outfit in Florida is St. Marks. Went looking for their website a few months ago and couldn't find it, whereas I had before.

Primex Technologies in Florida (Formerly St. Marks Powder, Formerly Olin) makes the Hodgdon and Winchester ball powders. The Hodgdon extruded (rifle) and flake (shotgun) powders are made by ADI in Australia.

Hope this helps,

Yeah, St. Marks turned into Primex, then General Dynamics bought Primex and they disappeared off the Web. Presumably the powder's still being made, but finding company info's not easy. Maybe off of General Dynamic's site somewhere, I haven't looked.
