I was reading one of the gun magazines and there's an article about a meter that uses ultrasonic waves to detect uneven jacket thickness in a rifle bullet. The machine is not made anymore, it was expensive too, only a couple of them were sold(one set is sold to Lou Palmisano) Is there any other way to figure out a bullet's internal balance without shooting it?

"HANDLOADER" was wrong: Vern Juenke is still producing the meter. You'll find his(correct) adress in one of the last "Precision Shooting" or here in this site somewhere.

They're about $650. He's still in Reno, but Reno's area code changed from when Barsness published the contact info. Martindog
