I was reading one of the gun magazines and there's an article about a meter that uses ultrasonic waves to detect uneven jacket thickness in a rifle bullet. The machine is not made anymore, it was expensive too, only a couple of them were sold(one set is sold to Lou Palmisano)
Is there any other way to figure out a bullet's internal balance without shooting it?

Vaughn showed one that looked like it took a mechanical genius to build, but was made out of plexiglas and ran off air. Basically he spun the bullets up on air bearings. It looked cool in the pictures in the book.

"HANDLOADER" was wrong: Vern Juenke is still producing the meter. You'll find his(correct) adress in one of the last "Precision Shooting" or here in this site somewhere.
