hglassBarnes-6.5-06
I'm reloading my 6.5-06 with Barnes xxx 130 grain bullets. I've read that the bullet should be aprox. 0.50 off the lands. Is this true? I never used Barnes before.

bartscheI DON'T THINK SO

. A half inch is quite a lot. It all depends on what your rifle likes.

voldoc02.050" is just a starting pt.,
shoot some groups at this length
then go shorter and longer, keeping all other variables constant and tune in to best groups.
hope this helps,

PS I've been developing a 264 load w/ TSX 6.5 130gr. and they are wicked-awesome
