A Remington Sendero has a 1 in 9.5" twist. Here is what I like in mine.

101gr US869 168gr. Berger VLD, and Fed 215 primer. COL 3.650 (still fits in the mag well) I haven't had very good luck with any thing smaller than the 168gr bullet.

99.0gr US869, 175 gr Barnes TSX, Fed 215 primer, COL 3.600

hope this helps

Mine is a 700lss it loves 87gr h-1000 and175 partitions .I cannot get lighter bullets to group! With the 175 partitions I get .389 5shot @100 and 1.55 @300. Really drops elk and mulies farthest shot is632 yards ,348 " bull one shot one dead bull. Good luck, when you find your load ,load a bunch and go hunt! Your barrel won't last very long! I've already noticed some throat erotion after120 rounds

I'm in the same boat as you with the exception that the 168gr. Bergers are great in this rifle of mine, especially at 500yds. I also have very good luck with the 175grainers.

I have used 140 gk, 150 gk and 162 sst over 85-87.5grs of h4831sc. nothing to really brag about. I beleave this rifle should shoot at least 1" at a 100yds. I'll be trying some 175 and H1000 I'll let you know what I get. Thanks for the info.

Get some WC872. That's what will make this round shine for you.

You won't find it at the gunstore.

Well folks heres what finally work for my rifle. Two loads stood out 140gr game king over 94.5gr of H1000 and 168gr SST over 87gr of H1000. Both loads where capped with federal 215M. I can cover the 94.5 GK group with the head of the cartridge. Needless to say this will be my go to load. I'll use tyhe SST for really long distant as the bc is far better. I know this is only a 3 shot group at 100 yds with a gun that was designed to shoot much further. But you got to love it when a plan comes together. I appericate all the advise and help that I got. Now if only I could find a 338 rum at a good price Cool
