I bought some .41 mag 265 gr. hardcast bullets with gas check at our local manufacturer here in Ronan, MT. The manufacturer is Rim Rock Bullets Inc. I am in need of load info for this bullet. Thanx in advance for any and all help extended. MTG | ||

Here is a few I used in my 6.5" blackhawk, accurate bullet, penetrates well, 19.0 gr IMR 4227, CCI 350 1125 fps 15.2 gr 2400, Win WLP 20.0 gr WW296, Win WLP 16.0 gr AA#9, Win WLP 17.0 gr Lil Gun, Win WLP all were reasonably accurate, used the 4227 load as my hunting load, gave full length penetration on a mulie at 88 yds. 3-7-77 | |||

Smith 357PD Airweight in .41 Magnum here. My big load is 15-15.5gr. of 2400, Federal Large Pistol Match Primer (*NOT mag primer!), 265 gr. Beartooth WLNFP-GC bullet. (That's Wide Long Nose Flat Point Gas Checked, Acronym ridden chunk of lead!) Groups well and delivered 1100 fps in a 4" bbl. Regards, Robert ****************************** H4350! MK/TX, I did ask the manufacturer if he loaded these cast bullets. His reply was to check with Buffalo Bore and they will give no loading info. I will try the W296 as I have some of this powder. Thanx. MTG | |||
