Loaded rounds in Case cleaner

Hello;
Probably a bit of a stupid question, but I"ve never seen any reference to it, even in the instructions that came with the cleaner. Is it permissible to clean grungy loaded rounds in the usual vibratory case cleaner? Not that I worry about the ammunition detonating, but I wonder if the vibration would break up the powder grains and maybe alter the combustion characteristics.

cheersThe tests that I did run indicate that there is no real eminent danger.

Imagine if you will all the ammunition hauled in freight cars through the years accross many countries. That is really long term felt vibration when you realize how military ammo has historicly been packaged. If you run into a problem you'll be the first I've heard of. beerroger

I have inadvertantly done it more than once (5 or ten unfired rounds in a box). No problems whatsoever.

DON'T DO IT YOU WILL DIE FASTER THEN A NECK SHOT DEER pissers

I do it when ever needed, like said think about the VIB. of hauling ammo across country or 100 miles down a dirt road.

Try braking a piece of powder between your finger nail.
