Does anyone know a good load for the 9.3x64 using 250gr bullets and Varget powder? A friend of mine wants to know, and he has no computer.

The only data I have using Varget says 64.5grs max for a velocity of 2642fps. Probably start at 61grs and work up.

I just finished my 9.3X64 last month, and started it out with IMR4350. A really under appreciated cartridge in the US.

I told him that my guess would be to start with 60grs and work up. I don't like guessing that way, but it was a little more than a guess, since Hodgdon shows 59+ as max for the 9.3x62. If it was my rifle, I would have tried it, but he has to make his own decision about that.

I have a wildcat 9.3 with very close to the same case capacity of the 9.3x64, but I haven't tried Varget yet. I tried H4895 and it worked so well that I just quit experimenting with loads.
