Does anyone have a recipe for a light 454 Casull target load? I don't want to use 45 LC. A recipe with Unique would be a plus.
Thanks.

Have a look in the pistol shooting forum, I posted the same question there.

H 4859 is good gor light loads, and you can go as low as 24grains with H110.

Use 45 Colt ammo for a light load in the 454

Or, use 45 Colt data for starters. Just don't reduce the slow powders. This will prevent the problem of using a shorter case in the chamber.

Thanks Cline, that's what I was looking for. I don't want to risk having any build up in the chamber at the length of a 45 LC cartridge.
