A co-worker of mine gave me about 300 rounds of once fired .308 brass today, as a present to honor my 25th year anniversary at the corporation. I am always appreciative of any brass I receive from all my fellow shooters, and try to look for items of interest for them.

With that said, the brass had a headstamp of NYY, which I am not familiar with. Do any of you have information on it's manufacturer?

I reload Blazer brass ammo. I also reload the Monarch green box ammo from Academy Sports (the headstamp is "nyy".)

So thats what it is :-)

Thanks for the info. Have you had success with the brass?

Did you mean "NNY" by chance?

If so, that is PRVI Partizan... they are a Serbia manufacturer.

So far, I've used their 9.3x62 brass quite a bit - I bought about 500 loaded cartridges and started reloading the fired ones as soon as they are shot. I probably still have 440 factory loaded cartridges out of the original 500; some of the reloaded ones have 6 or 7 reloads on them right now with good results. I've read similar good things about their other rifle brass.

Here is their website:

Hope that helps.

Found several hundred once fired and took them home, sized them up and shot a few groups. Was amazed at how well it did. Then decided to weight sort some to try to do better, and the variation was remarkably small. Better than my Lapua cases! I guess I could ruin it for myself by putting them on the dial indicator... Nah!

Thanks for the heads up.. Lithuania, I'll be
