Today was the closier of the San Gabriel Valley Gun Club rifle range at Fish Canyon Our weekly shooting is now moved to Angeles Rifle Range in Tujunga Canyon. It is a different type range with metal silhouettes out to 800 yds. Harder to get to during rush hour but doable. It is well managed and regulated and has a large reloading outlet store. We do have to bring our own lunch but so far the coffee is free. The King is dead ;long live the king. Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Sorry to hear that your range closed. What was the cause of it's demise? Our club is privatly owned by the members but with the EPA and Mo dept of natural resources on the loose a lot of places are getting closed here as well. Walk softly and carry a big bore!

Noiseless communitys?.... except for all the sirens and cop helicopters flting all over the place. Yep , Calif keeps building their phoney perfect utopia designer communitys, BARF! NO: gun ranges, dirt roads, natural terrain, deer, mountain lions, quail, coyotes allowed. I worked at South Coast gun club back in the '70s. I think there is a toll freeway and a million condos and uppies there now. on Calif
