Mads.

Lapuas hunting bullets are NOT bonded. Sako on the other hand make bonded hunting bullets. They are called Hammerhead and Super Hammerhead.

Thanks Stefan

But I didn't know that the Hammerheads were bonded!
You seldom hear about the Lapua or Sako bullets!

Is people using them in Sweden, or is every one like in Denmark - using Norma?

I intend to use Lapuas very blunt 9.3 mm 286 grs bullet soon. Its Lapuas design, featuring a thicker jacket in the rear and a cannelure. Cant see if "bonded".

The Sako bullets are not Sako made: one is Barnes X, the other one is Nosler Partition. ( That is in 9.3 mm, because I did some research. In some European catalogs they rather clearly state which bullets they use. They still call them with their own proprietary name )

I wish the ammo makers would understand, that to use a premium bullet, and tell so, is good marketing:

Federal Premium
Remington Safari line
partially Norma ( own name for A frame, but declared somewhere in the catalog)
Hirtenberg with Nosler or Sierra ( not premium, but declarated )
