When I went thru my old 270 brass I today noticed a few cases I didnt recognize. i must have picked them up at the range. Ever heard of frontier or F C headstamp? All my brass is winchester and R-P so i recognize them. Very odd. I dont remember picking up extra brass.

Frontier is Hornady. A few years back, it (the ammo line) used to be called Hornady-Frontier ammunition.

And like GSP7 said, FC is Federal.

And according to the Hornady techs, the Frontier cases were made for them by Winchester.
