I need to send ammo, or the components after breaking down the ammo, to Alaska. I would like to send the loaded ammo but can't find a way of shipping it legally. Anybody know of a legal way of shipping loaded ammo to Alaska? Or is anybody planning a trip to Alaska in the near future and would be willing to transport the ammo?

This has been discussed here before; search for it. UPS will ship ammo within the lower 48 only. You will have to either break down the brass and bullets (NO primers) and ship those, or find someone driving up there. But then you go through Canada and there are other laws; which I forgot. Search for it.
Cal knows; ask him.

Try Carlile “MyConnect”. They handle hazmat between Tacoma, WA and a number of destinations in AK.

I don't suppose FedEx would do it. They have decided not to even handle firearms over here, even though they have to be shipped from one licensed gun dealer to another.
