Hello folks,

I'm looking for the most accurate powder when pushing the Hornady 225Gr spire point out of my 375 H&H. My tube loves RE15 with 270 Gr bullets, however, I never had any luck with the lighter bullets. So here I am, asking for your most accurate powder with that particular bullet.

Thank you,

Maurice

I haven't done it, but if I were contemplating using this light bullet I would likely first try either H/IMR 4895 or IMR/AA 4064.

I have had good luck with 235 gr. Speer bullets and RL 15.

4320 might do it for you. 4320, 4064, and 4895 are virtually the same buring speed, although 4320 might average just a tad slower. The other two seem to trade places depending on the case capacity and bullet weight. I'm having great luck with the new IMR 4007 which sits right between 4320 and 4350 in burning rate in a couple of cartridges, but it might be a trifle slow for your intended usage.
