Trying to work out the case capacity between a 9.3x57 and my 9.3x55 Imp. I weigh the case empty first then filled with water on my scales, I do this 3 times for each of the two cases to get a mean. I subtract the weight of the case from filled case to get " grains of water "( at least I think thats what I'm getting if I'm doing it right )but the result seem too high....78.5 for the x57 and 93 for the x55 Imp.....what am I doing wrong Confused

Your method is correct. Use a little Staysoft in the water to soften it a bit and fill the case to the neck.

To the top of the neck - total H20 case capacity.
