280REM AI full length die sets.

lee $24.00
hornady $53.00
redding $57.00
RCBS $112.00

I can understand the lee prices and even the hornady/redding prices with the caliber not being a run of the mill caliber. But I cannot see how RCBS can, in good conscience, charge double the price of their competitors. I don't have anything against RCBS, but it strikes me odd that they would be that far out in left field in regard to their market research.

Anyone got any insight on this?

Hi, I didn't take time to research it myself, and that is not a caliber that I use personally, but did you make sure that you are comparing apples to apples? That is to say a competition die set compared to a plain jane version? Just a thought.

Does seem out of step, but probably has to do with not keeping that tooling readily available.
