I recently bought some Peterson 06 brass , and compared the brass to my Lapua brass as far as weight goes PETERSONS BRASS 200.8 200.6 200.3 200.3 200.3 LAPUA BRASS 189.9 189.5 189.3 189.3 189.2 Petersons brass is significantly heavier, as can be seen , will be interesting to see what the webbing is like on the respective makes , the people at petersons assure me that where the case body joins the case web that junction is RADIUSED, if thats so the petersons case should take hight pressure loads really well Not saying the Lapua brass does not take high pressure well...get 2900 with R17 and 180 partition in my 06....absolutly no pressure signs, long brass life Will be also interesting to load both cases with the same load/charge and see what the velocity difference is | ||
