Walnut shell with a spoonful of scouring powder added again every 4th or 5th use. Keep the liquids and other junk out and it will last for years and years. Use the money you would have wasted on polish and replacing gunked up media for something real.

Doc/224/375--that ceramic/synthetic media sounds interesting. Would you provide some more details on it please?!

Thanks--D

I have no affiliation with any of this it's simply a source of which there are many .

http://www.agsco.com/

I started using synthetics while working in Aerospace composites , so I figured why not brass cases .

It never seems to wear out and maybe once in awhile I put a cap or two of polish in with the media .

I prefer those shapes as they don't seem to get stuck inside the cases .

No as I tend to procure my materials through work and to be perfectly honest I acquired this stuff so many

years ago I don't even remember what we were using it for !. It wasn't in my Dept. or Job description .

Specialty suppliers deal in small quantities manufactures deal in Bulk or drum quantities .

Simply E Mail or call one of MANY abrasives distributors and seek a recommendation for what they consider

works best on brass .

Micro click plastic media 3/4 X 3/4 V code Lt.Green Tetrahedron SP code Tan polish should work well .

Depending on how tarnished your brass is . Mine is Clean and polished ,so I keep it that way and would recommend

the above from Micro . But simply ASK them to BE SURE . BOL ...

Whatever is cheapest. Having used it all, I don't fret over it anymore, it all works fine.

popcornI think I've only been tumbling for the last 10 years or so.Golleee, didn't know what I was missing for over 40 years. You really can't live with it unless it is bright and shinny. homerAll this time I thought clean was the answer. Shows how far back in the woods I lived. claproger

Roger ; Do you have indoor plumbing yet ? clap

I lived with out a tumbler for 25 years out of 42 I've been reloading and a Good Deal longer before

I bought Dillon presses .

I still have bags of Walnut shells and Cob but that stuff is not practical to clean an

breaks down after K's of cases . So I figure I would step into the 21 St. Century .

Seeing as I now have TP and don't use tree bark or old reader digest pages any more either .

How have you been Roger ?. Hope all is well . Regards ...

Hot water and Cascade automatic dish washer detergent. This procedure removes soot from inside the case. Tumble with White Vinegar after the first water rinse and tumble again with water after vinigar to put a shine on the cases.
