Just saw this post, did one earlier today regarding the same question. what will you guys do? I am thinking of Nosler, but have had great results with the Hornady. What do you think? Thanks-Karl

The Nosler is just added insurance. However, with a 220 Gr RN, your game really has to be a long way off and big for the Nosler to be warranted.

When I do Elk hunt, if I do carry 30 caliber of any type tho, I do load the Nosler 220 grain. Nothing more than the "Feeling" of extra security. Like buying a little more extra car insurance when you really don't need to add any more. Peace of mind.

Noslers work! But then so does a Good Old Round Nose. ( You never see many complaints about a Round Nose bullet ever failing, ya notice that??)

No loosers either way

Uhhh, I think you fellows are talking about two differant bullets here. Karl is talking about the 8mm 220 gr and seafire is talking about the 30 cal 220 gr. Of course, I could be wrong. - Dan
