I have a rifle zeroed perfectly at 200 yards with .308 NATO surplus (FNM). I've been trying to duplicate that POA with handloads without much success. Anyone have a load that matches NATO's? Bullet specifics, too, please?

DaveR I had pretty good results in an H&K 91 with 42 gr. of IMR 3031 and a 150gr Nosler solid base [no longer made], but I think any 150gr bullet should be close. You might have to adjust the powder charge a little but that would be a good place to start. Some people will probably recommend 748 but I have never used it in a 308.

Try some WC846(surplus) Work up to 46 grains with the 150 grain bullet. From C.O.T.W. by F.C. Barnes
