The rifle is a 1937 model 70 with a 22" barrel, the intended game will be deer/antelope.
Currently I'm getting good accuracy(7/8") with 140 grain TTSX's with 49 grains of H4350, MV is around 2780 fps. Is it worth it to drop down to a 120 grain TTSX to try and gain more fps or should I just stick with the 140's, any load input is welcome.
Thanks

Run a check on the point blank range of both. Just a quick look using the same pressure you gain about 14yds of point blank range with 120s. Assuming you can find an accuracy load that yields around 200fps higher velocity from the 120s. Up to you.
My wife has one load for her 7x57. It is a 140Accubond. She uses it from small hogs and deer up through Elk and Oryx.

As usual just my $.02

My sons and I have been using 140 gn Partitions for about 25 years, and the Deer killing of that bullet excels. So, I'll continue using them as accuracy is very good too. Velocity is about the same as you are getting.
Our load is:
47.0 gns H-414 and Fed 210 Primers. Bullets seated to feed thru magazine.
I've never done and Barnes bullet testing in the 7x57, so no cmts about that fine bullet.

You might pick up a bit more velocity by using either H414 or W760. Same powder, just different names. I won't pass on my load with W760 as while it is just fine in my Winchester M70 Featherweight (2800 FPS average) is is way too hot for a custom FN mauser or my Ruger #1A.
Frankly, I don't think it would be worth the trouble to change powders for just a possible 20 FPS gain. The bullet I'm using are early Nosler ballistic tips that came in 100 round boxes. I will be rying the 140 gr. TSX in the very near future. I just have to find a couple more boxes of bullets.

Roll EyesFor what you say you hunt with that 7x57 that load you are using is great as long as you aren't stretching the range. If you are looking for some long distance hunting perhaps you need another rifle geared for that. GHD will probably sell you a 25-06. waveroger

Sounds like a pretty good midrange setup to me. I wouldn't mess with it.
