does anybody have any leads on the best prices on 500 gr. .458 bullets? is $35/50 as cheap as they get? I am looking to load up some RN blasting and sighting ammo, terminal performance is not an issue. thanks.

Check Midwayusa.com. They have some that are less than $35/50 though not a lot less. $22-$30 per 50. If you don't have to have lead, a lot of guys on this forum have used the Remington 405 grain semijacketed softpoint, which are about $26/100.
