carnold724.300 Win Mag high BC bullets
I am new to reloading and am curious to know if anyone has used bullets in their .300 Win Mag with a high ballistic coeffecient. I was on Midway and found these 2 brands.

Most of the shots we take are between 100 and 300 yards but we are presented with shots waaaaay out there, as far as the eye can see, quite frequently. I am thinking a heavier, high BC bullet, might work better at bucking the wind out to 500 yards or so, than say a load with the 125 Nosler Ballistic Tips I already bought for the same purpose. We also gets shots at Coyotes pretty frequently also. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
I have no experience with either bullet, but either would probably do fine. The Hornady is a relatively new product, so you may not find much information on it. If you want a hunting bullet, look at the 200 grain Nosler Accubond. It's b.c. is .588, IIRC.
