I am trying to figure out what typical maximum velocities you can expect from a 7mm Rem mag with a 24" barrel for 140, 150, 160 and 175 grain bullets. I have looked in the Nosler and Speer manuals and they show a large difference in velocities...even with similar powder charges.

Any infomation you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I have gotten from a 26"bbl. w/o bending anything:
140-3250fps
150-3150fps
160-3050fps
175-2950fps

I haven't got any 175 info handy but my 24# is in that ball park. There is room above that but my 7mag is most accurate a little below the top.

As usual just my $.02
