After many frustrating attempts to reload for my BAR in 300 WSM, I finally traded it for a Savage 16 Weather Warrior and viola, my reloading problems disappeared. Seems that the Browning's chamber is oversiZed and fired cases WILL NOT FIT INTO MY HORNADY SIXING DIE!

Now to see if my load of 60gr. H380 behind the 165 Sierra Game King works.

Finally a good 300 WSM!

Not that it was the source of your prior problem, but H380 is not a good choice for this cartridge/bullet combination. Look for a slower powder.

Sorry, but this load shoots one hole at 100yds. For my rifle it was a very good load.

Stonecreek. Perhaps this load works so well is because it is a mild loading for the 300 WSM. 2900 fps is not really magnum numbers.
