I came across a sealed 1 pounder at a gunshow a while back an bought it on a whim. Called Sierra and asked them about it, the tech guy I spoke with said it's equivalent to 4198. Load data: http://www.peterlawman.co.uk/vectan

I am in your debt. I was owed a few $$$ and received a 20Kg unopened keg to square the debt. Some of the applications in their URL are 223, and 375 H&H. Come spring I will work with it in those two. thank you, Rich

Your welcome. I haven't gotten around to using any of it, but rumor has it it works just as well as 4198.

Rich- Not that it was necessary, but here is a link to a thread talking about Tubal 2000. One response in the thread reinforces what Craigster said. (Also, there are at least a couple of burn rate charts that reflect the powder as very near H4198 and IMR 4198...) http://forum.accurateshooter.c....php?topic=2866693.0

I got metal can of powder that said 4198 that's all I started with the lowest loading for the fastest 4198. I developed many loads with it. AS you know start low and use it up.

thanks again gentlemen. I found out Grafs distributes it. They say 4198sc is next to it on the burn rate charts, a hair slower.
