After fondling firearms for almost 30 years, I've finally traded toward a .30-06 that I will keep, a Kimber 8400. Since I've never owned a 30-06 for any length of time, I've read a bit on various reloading recipes. I prefer Hornady Interlocks (RN or SP) and Nosler Partitions. Has any one had any actual experience with the institutionalized 55gr IMR 4350/180gr load in a Kimber?

I have no experience with that load, but I can enthusiastically recommend 60 grains of RL19 and a Barnes 168 TSX. That's a max load so approach with caution.
