Anyone have load data for heavier (100 grains or so) spitzer bullets for the .25-20 WCF for Contenders?

Check ancient Lyman manuals. The small ones, from the 40's and 50's. I once saw a load, in one, for 117 gr. bullets. Used 2400 powder......I think. I am thinking a 1:14 twist may not work to well with those bullets. : )

Thanks, Scot. All the "ancient" stuff went in the divorce ten years ago. Anyone have access to older reloading manuals?

My old 45th Edition Lyman show 4 loads-60/86 grain jacketed, 69/90 gr cast w/gas check. Their data for the 90 cast follows:
Unique 4.5gr/5.5 grs
2400 7gr/9grs
IMR 4198 11gr/13grs

I have a .25-20. But not in a contender. I don't think it helps much, but I use 86gr. flat nosed and use 11 grains of IMR 4198.
