Anyone willing to share a load for 160 gr cast flatpoints in the 6.5 M/S? TIA Packy

If it is gas checked, you should be of to use standard loads. The operating pressure for this cartridge is so low it should not make any difference.

I tried a few but accuracy was terrible and never bothered. I still have the remaining bullets but no rifle!

Packy,Although RCBS makes a great silouette mould the best performance is still with the Hornady 160G. jacketed RN.as per regulation. Besides buddy you have a new project interest now,+ it's still a Mannlicher.

Not sure if we corresponded on this a while back.

My Mannlicher Schoenauer slugged at 0.268 and so I used the Hornady 0.268 Carcanno 160 gr RN bullets. Made a big difference in accuracy.
