Perhaps my Oehler 35P is not perfect but it the velocities that it reported were consistant with other rifles fired at the same time. As I mentioned I used extraction and primer/case appearance as guides.

The same load of RL 10 gave the 150 gr Partition 2822 fps from the 22" barrel as it gave a mean of 2911 fps to the 150 gr Ballistic Tip. I hunted with a load thats one grain more! Things vary.

What chronograph experiance do you have?
