With Federal 215's being scarce as hens teeth at the moment, I have been using Remington 9.5 M primers with good results in my 338 RUM and 375 H&H. My question is are these primers hot enough for larger cases, specifically the 460 Weatherby and 500 Jeffery. Any thoughts or first hand experiences would be appreciated

I run the RPs in my 404jeffery & they shoot fine. In tests where I switched primers, there was little diff. in vel. or accuracy. I think the bigbores are more forgiving than the small bores when it comes to switching primers. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!
