Well like we don't have enough already! www.sinclairintl.com is selling a new borecleaner called Montana X-Treme Bore Cleaner. Suppose to work better than the well known cleaners they already sell. Its ammonia based and safe to soak your barrels in it. Sinclair has an excellent track record for selling products that work so I'll take their word for it. When I run out of CR10 I may just order some. sure-shot

I just tried some "Wipe out" from Paul Company Inc. Its a foam that dissolves everything (copper, lead, carbon moly...etc) and you simply wipe it out....no brushing, scrubbing etc. Being a HP match shooter I've cleaned lots of barrels in my life and I've NEVER seen anything that gets things this clean with no brushes or anything. Its an AWESOME product... First application is left in bore overnight and simply swab out in morning. Its comepletely safe and ammonia free.
I had a badly copper fouled 300 mag I used it on before going to bed and in the AM it was clean and bright as a whistle! This stuff works guys...

And no I'm not affiliated with this company.

Kentucky Nimrod is right, what amazes me is that this stuff doesn't stink, it doesn't eat up your gunstock, and it WORKS, without a single brush stroke.

I even use it in my black powder rifle (which it cleans in about a 10 minute soak).

I had a .243 Rem HB which I thought was "shot out". Was going to take it to a gun show, for a trade. A friend of mine from Liberty, had some Wipe-Out and told me to try it. It took 4 days before all the crud quit coming out, and I finally got clear patches. We took the gun to the range next weekend and it went back to 5/8" groups with 85gr Sierra bullets & N-202.
