25-06 from 30-06?

Been away from reloading for a few years; going to be getting a barrel for my Encore in 25-06. I have a ton of 06 brass and figured I could just run the 06 brass in the 25-06 dies, but not sure. Anyone have any experience with this?

The Encores are a bit more finicky than a bolt rifle....but I used to do just what you said for my mauser 25-06. Single pass of 30-06 brass in the 25-06 die and voila! You have 25-06 brass. Welcome to AR!
