I know I know, read the manual, but I have about 3/4 lb of 2520, can it be loaded in 44 mag ? It is not the best for that but would it be safe to just plink with ?

I know that but can it safly push a bullet out the BBL ? Hell I used up the last of my IMR 3031 in a .22 Hornet, didnt burn all that great. but I used it up with out waist, and had fun. I just dont want the thing to blow up ! I'll pour it on a ant bed and light it before I through it away.

But IMR-3031 is a valid powder for the Hornet when using a 45 grain bullet:

IMR-3031 From 10.0 grains to 11.0 grains
Remington 6-1/2 Primer

Yeah it shot pretty good, just was alot of unburned powder left in the bore, so AA2520 is just NO good, well the fire ants will get a good look at it, LOL.

Well, if you have a .223 Remington and like 80 grain bullets; a 224 Weatherby and like 45 grain bullets; a 25 TCU and like 90 grain bullets; a 6.5 Benchrest and like 100, 107, 120, or 140 grain bullets; a 7-30 Waters and like 115 to 120 grain bullets; a 7mm Benchrest and like 150 grain bullets; a 30 Benchrest and like 200 grain bullets; an 8mm-06 and like 175 grain bullets; 8x57 Mauser and like 175 grain bullets; or a 358 JDJ and like 250 grain bullets, there isn't a powder out there taht is better.

However, like I initially posted...no good for .44 magnum...
