I tried them in my 358 Winchester. They didn't shoot well for me. Bob257

I use these in my 35 remington 14 inch hunter barrel and I think they are outstanding. This barrel will shoot 3 shot 1 inch groups off sandbags with either remington or Hornady 200 grain round noses, and will shoot just under 1.5 inch groups with the 180 Hornady SSP. I think if the throat in my barrel was a little shorter it would shoot better, I get outstanding accuracy (3 shots less than 1 inch) with the Hornady 200 grain spire point which is nearly identical in ogive shape, but longer than the 180 in the shank. I can seat the 200 grain bullet further out than the 180. While the 180 isn't the MOST accurate bullet in this barrel, it's accurate enough for my hunting needs and I know that it will expand, puts a large wound channel into both Virginia whitetails and Florida Hogs. I'm not so sure about those 200 rns or spirepoints, but I've never shot anything but paper with the 200s. I chronoed Remington Factory 200 grain loads a few years ago and only got 1675 FPS average 6 feet from the muzzle!! I think you need to push a 200 much harder than that for reliable expansion, but again, that's not grounded in experience so take it for what it's worth. regards, Graycg
