I am loading for a DPMS LR243L. Do I need to crimp the bullet. I do not crimp for my bolt guns.

Do not crimp! It's not needed and causes accuracy problems due to erratic bullet pull.

If you need convincing, crimp a small test sample and compare them with uncrimped loads in your rifle.
