Gentlemen, I'm teaching a basic class in rifles & ammunitions to newbies interested in getting started in hunting. One of the aspects I'm covering is calibers & cartridges and I need to show them a few cartridges of different calibers for them to understand. What I would like is a 22-250, 243 Win, and 308 Win dummy rounds (no primer or powder, just brass and a seated bullet). I already have a slews of other 17, 20, 22, one 243 (6mmPPC) caliber, and one 30 (30-06) caliber cartridges. If you gentlemen suggest larger rounds (maybe a 300 Win Mag or 375 H&H), let me know. If you can help me, please send me a PM and I will forward you my address. I am willing to reimburse you for your expenses. Regards, Kory

Kory. l did a few last year for the Game and Wildlife dept' here on campus, and added a twist to the idea for them. lf someone donates several rounds of the same kind why not try this...Take a round and cut away the side of the case from the head stamp (halfway through the flash hole) to the shoulder where it meets the neck (but don't cut into the neck, as this is needed to hold the bullet). Then take a half round file and gently remove the jacket metal from the ogive of the bullet from the tip to where it enters the neck of the case. lt works really well with balistic tips as it will expose the polimar tip as well as the thickening jacket wall and the lead core. Regards. Dave. ....
