I ordered .500 S&W 7.5" Performance Center revolver, have already dies, primers, H110 and bullets (Woodleighs at home, 400gr coated hard cast bullets on the way). I found by accident today this reloading data: http://www.lhs-germany.de/uploads/media/500_S___W.pdf Looks like Vectan Tubal 2000 could produce really interesting velocities with some bullets. But at Vectan website ( http://www.vectan.fr/UK/reloading-charges ), there are load data only with Ba6 1/2 and SP3 powders. So I am a little bit confused. Any help or experience with Tubal 2000 out there? Also what primers do you use? I like Federal GM215M a lot, but in many recipes, there are just standard rifle primers, not magnum. Cheers, Jiri BTW I will load .500 S&W also with TrailBoss or TinStar for plinking/fun shooting loads, but want full power loads as well.

auf Englais...? There does not seem to be any information on the Tubal powders here in the US yet.

Tubal 2000 is supposed to be fairly close to IMR 4198, which is normally not loaded in the 500 S&W. That is probably why it is not listed as a preferred powder for that caliber on their web site. I shoot the 500 S&W and have never loaded 4198 in that caliber. Weapon of Choice: 30mm Gatling Gun Over 1500 posts as "Barstooler"

I contacted NobelSport and they sent me back exactly the same reloading data. For Tubal 2000, they recommend to use 50 cm (20") long powder drop tube and heavy crimp. Up to 2083 fps with 325gr Barnes XPB from 10" barrel or 1952 fps with 370 cast bullet sounds interesting. Jiri
