I am a Wildcat shooter, as are several other posters here. Sounds like a great idea to me. At least we would all be crazy, and united. [Wink] Good shooting.

I would love to see a wildcat forum just for us that want to know what would happen if we did this to that. Experimenters are what gives us progress in every walk of life. Yea, a wildcat forum is good for us. [Big Grin] [Wink] [Smile]

mmmm I would have to respectfully say I am not for a wildcat forum. My reason is that many of the boards get to thin because they have too many forum catagories. I find and believe it is benificial to have wildcats and other subjects mixed into more broad catagories where comparisons of the common and uncommon can be made. Example... if a person who has just started hunting uses a factory rifle and ammo starts to read a forum where wildcats and factory chamberings are discussed, then maybe he will become more interested in reloading and wildcats (whereas if he had to make a choice of going to the wildcat forum... he might not because he doesnt own one, thinks those people are nuts, thinks those people are over there heads... ect...) just my two cents
just my two cents
take care

Wildcats don't need a separate forum. I am with Smallfry on this one. They fit in with other cartridges and should be able to stand up against them.

If "wildcats" were some topic that was not compatable with rifles, hunting, reloading or gunsmithing then ok but they fit it so leave it be.

Those who play with wildcats, are by their nature, not satisfied with "good enough". They always want something "better". [Roll Eyes]

I say it's time to stand up to those who just can't leave well-enough alone, who hate the status quo, who always want to go where no man/woman has gone before. [Razz]

Who knows where this would lead. Now's the time to stamp out progress. [Wink]
