Hornady SST in .30 cal

Anybody tried out the Hornady SST 180 gr. for the .30-06 AI yet? If so, could you share some data. Thanks-Karl
PS-Hope none of you folks got the KLEZ virus, it was tough to get rid of.

Hi Karl. I picked some of the SST's up but haven't loaded them up yet. Let me know what you find out. I won't have time to get to them for a couple of weeks, business rears it's ugly head. - Dan

I use a book max load of N-560,no pressure signs in a picky rifle,works just as good in the back-up 30.06.

I'm in the middle of a group of test with a .30-06 using, amoung others, the 150 grain SST.
So far the SST seems to be performing very well. I've just finished testing on a .270. In that test the SST was the second most accurate bullet tested. The Nosler Ballistic Tip was first. With the '06 results are about the same, so far. [Smile]
