Good Morning All. I have question regarding the range of case length for 5.56 cases. I have lengths ranging from 1.740" - up past 1.760". I was taught to trim anything over 1.755" down to 1.755". Is this good practice? Is there a minimum length that I should discard any pieces that are under that length. Any other thoughts on case length max and min would be appreciated. Thanks

I only trim when the case length is over 1.76. If it is less than that, I just move on. More then that, I trim to 1.750.

There is no real minimum for an AR blaster; I trim them all to the absolute shortest length and then they will be lost before they grow over max.
