Hello, I’m getting ready to reload for the first time and have decided it will be 9mm Luger (9x19). I have 115gr Berry’s plated 9mm bullets and will be using HP38/Win231 powder. I’ve been reading three different resources Lyman 49th edition, Hornady 9th edition and the Richard Lee 2nd edition and I have a question. The Lyman page 341 has a load for 9mm 115gr jacketed HP with 231 (3.5), Hornady has 9mm 115gr FMJRN w/231 (4.1) page 771 and Lee shows both HP38 and 231 (4.3) for 9mm 115gr for lead on page 507 and again both HP38 and 231 (4.7) for XTP page 508. NONE of these matches correctly for the Berry’s plated 9mm 115gr that I have. Any suggestion on what would be the safest/best load data to start with that matches my Berry’s plated 9mm bullets?

Start with a middle of the road load don't think you well have any trouble. right around 4 grs seems proper.

Berry's Preferred Plated Bullets publishes a good rule-of-thumb guide.
