I am wondering if anyone has any experience with powder charges for a 6.5-06 ackley improved. I am interested in using RL-25 with 142 grain bullets.

I started with the Nosler Manual.They have data for the 6.5-06.I started with the max loads.I'm still experimenting with various loads.You should be able to work up loads from that data.This site also,has data for the 6.5.-06IMP.

I started with 6.5-06 loads from the Sierra manual and quit with 53 grains of either IMR or AA 4350. It shot .5" so I quit. It isn't a barn burner at 3000 fps with a 120 grain bullet, but I have a 264 Win Mag for burning powder.
